A true double-sider winner! This 45rpm couples two explosive slices of late 50s East Coast rock on the legendary New Jersey indie Cool Records. On one side, George Quarta Jr. tears loose with “Get Loose,” a raw and frantic rocker. Recorded at Coleman Recording Studio (Newark, NJ). Driven by slapping bass, biting guitar licks, and Quarta’s swaggering vocals, it’s pure dance-floor dynamite. Flip it over and you’ve got Jack King and the Cats with “Dance Everybody” a tougher, more rock-a-billy cut, also laid down at Coleman Recording Studio, hitting harder and faster, a perfect contrast to the rocker bounce of the A-side. Both sides were cut around 1959–1960 for Cool’s short-lived CJ-series, pressed in small numbers and long sought-after by collectors. As always, the record comes with a custom label sleeve to complete the whole package. Turn it up loud and let the needles fly!
