Continuing our hit series for collectors with a taste for the rare and the rocking, here’s a brand-new release this time shining the spotlight on the great state of Alabama.
On Side A, you’ll find the incredible rocker “Shake Loose” by none other than Doug Brown. Recorded back in 1960, it’s a raw, high-energy gem. And yes, for those keeping track he’s the same wildcat behind Cadillac Cutie in 1959. The man had a streak!
Flip it over to Side B and you’re treated to a fantastic piano-driven rocker by Johnny Cook, recorded in 1962. Think Jerry Lee Lewis but more primal, less polished, and all the more thrilling for it. Two killer sides that once again prove: Alabama rocks hard!
100 copies pressed.
